You get your own parking space which always comes in handy as you won’t have to worry about finding a space if you’re out and about driving around the Oxford area. As part of the Rana Court development, the Tolkein apartment (as your hosts have called it) offers up a modern place to stay whether you’re visiting Oxford on business or for leisure reasons.

Take a look at the photos and see how bright and inviting the open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area is. At one end, the modern kitchen, neatly fitted of course, with all the appliances you’ll need to fix yourselves snacks and meals any time you fancy. The presence of a washer/dryer makes long-term stays here an attractive proposition as you can keep your clothes clean however long you’re planning to stay.

The lounge area is next to the kitchen, a space dominated by the large sofa which converts into a bed. You get a large flat screen TV too, so shoes off, feet up, and grab the remote to flick through the channels. At the far end of the room is the dining table with four chairs around it, so room enough for everyone to sit and get some work done, or enjoy a meal, or play card or board games. Maybe you’ll get the chance to do all three during your stay.

BEDROOMS

The bedroom is a delightful space with a double bed that you can ask your hosts to configure with two single beds instead, if that better suits your needs. Expect a great night’s rest every night of your stay on a comfy mattress with quality bedding. The beds will be set-up in the following configuration as standard: Bedroom 1 - 1x Kingsize Double Bed (Can be set up as 2x Twin/Single Beds). Bedding and Linen for the Sofabed will only be left out if there are more than 3 guests booked to stay unless otherwise advised by you that it is required.

And your bathroom? That features a modern suite with a tub and overhead shower, plus a WC and wash basin. Towels and toiletries will be waiting for you, provided by your hosts.
